A Summer Treat from A Piece of Cake

Summer season brings bright and longer days exposing the true beauty of nature. The flavourful Seoul-based streetwear brand is now back with luscious and lighter materials to keep you cool under the sizzling sun. APOC’s Summer 19 collection has arrived!

A Piece of Cake Summer 19 Lookbook

There are 33 pieces altogether making it very difficult to choose the must-cop pieces from this delicious range. Although, after checking out the subtle details of each piece, it has become clear not only to us but also to the hungry shoppers that the “Cherry Bear” sets are most likely to sell out first.

Amongst the large number of Korean streetwear brands, APOC is known to be the best when it comes to Hawaiian shirts. In fact, their first set of Hawaiian shirts were considered as the golden-key to their rapid rise in popularity.

BLACKPINK’s Lisa Manoban wearing the pink colourway of the famous Grape Gummy Hawaiian Shirt on an OnStyle TV series.

WINNER’s Lee Seunghoon wearing the blue colourway of the famous Grape Gummy Hawaiian Shirt.

The sweetness of this collection fortunately doesn’t end there. This is the first time the brand has released a matching set of shorts to their Hawaiian shirts. This piece retails at ₩42,000 ( approx. £30 / €35 / $38 ).

Never failing to put a flashy twist on their pieces, matching reversible bucket hats are also up for grabs as seen in the lookbook.

With all this in mind, it came to our senses that the lookbook gave off a subtle but almost recognisable way of styling. Upon checking up our daily Instagram feed, a post by MORETHANDOPE‘s director and stylist Hanseul Ha immediately popped up proving our suspicions.

As can be seen, APOC has our summer filled with delicious treats. Let us know which sweet piece of cake you’re grabbing from this range!
